Information on Federally Mandated Exit Interviews
The federally mandated exit interviews are required for all students that received a Federal Perkins Loan, Federal Direct Stafford Loan or a Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan at SVA.
The exit interview is an information session explaining the student’s rights and responsibilities regarding these loan programs.
For the 2018-19 academic year, exit session times and locations will be emailed to students and are subject to online reservation through the email. Please refer to your SVA email address to reserve an exit session time slot.
Information on Federally Mandated Entrance Interviews
The federally mandated entrance interviews are required for all students receiving a Federal Direct Stafford Loan or a Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan for the first time at SVA. If a student has received a Stafford Loan at a previous institution, they do not need to attend the entrance interview here at SVA.
Students must attend an entrance interview before any loan proceeds may be received. The entrance interview is an information session explaining the student’s rights and responsibilities regarding these loan programs.
During the 2018 Fall and Spring 2019 semesters our entrance interview sessions will be conducted at 342 East 24 Street on the Concourse Level 200. Dates and times will be announded shortly.

2019-20 FAFSA Reminder
The federal government has made significant changes to the 2019-20 FAFSA form. You can now submit your 2019-20 FAFSA form as early as October 1, 2018 using your 2017 tax information.
You can file the 2019-20 FAFSA form online at fafsa.ed.gov using your FSA ID login credentials to electronically sign.
