The Digital Imaging Center is a treasury of technological resources assembled in one location, serving full-time, matriculated undergraduate students majoring in advertising and graphic design, as well as students registered in classes held in the DIC.
Part of the creative process is the final output and presentation of the work. The industry-standard printers and copiers of the Print Lab provide the electronic and manual tools to bring projects to life. The print lab is located on the ground floor of 209.
Hours of Operation
During the school year, the Digital Imaging Center is open 24 hours a day, excluding SVA holidays. On SVA holidays, security will not allow access to the building at all. For a full list of closed dates, please see the holiday closures tab below. The DIC computer labs are open for student access during the winter break excluding holidays and for two weeks prior to the summer session as well as the two weeks at the end of the summer. Please note that there is no staff technical support during the winter break. Summer session hours vary. Students must pay a summer lab fee in order to use the lab during the summer.
The 24/7 schedule is for the computer labs only and is in effect during the Fall and Spring semester, Monday through Sunday. The 6th Floor DIC Print Lab has its own operating hours. Please see the DIC Print Lab tab below to find out more.
