- Coworking / Accelerators / Incubators
COWORKING SPACES
Coworking spaces are alternative collaborative work environments where productivity, networking and communal learning are priorities. Coworking spaces are common locations for independent professionals, telecommuters and freelancers to share one environment rather than work remotely in separate offices or places. Most coworking spaces offer open desk seating and dedicated desk membership options.

ACCELERATOR RESOURCES
Characterized by truncated three to four month entrepreneurial programs, accelerators offer financial support (generally between $18,000 and $25,000 per startup) and mentorship to startups in return for small amounts of capital. At the end of accelerator programs, start-ups ‘graduate’ and the accelerator takes single-digit chunks of equity in the externally developed business ideas.
Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerators (ERA)
INCUBATOR RESOURCES
Characterized by business assistance and mentorship programming, an incubator is designed to care for and promote startups and entrepreneurs bringing in an external management team to manage an idea developed internally that can gestate for an extended period. While some incubators do not take equity from startups, many take a larger amount [compared to accelerators] in exchange for exposure to their network, expertise and guidance. Now called MBA alternatives, incubators tend to shorten the time from innovation to impact offering startups the guidance, expertise and resources required to grow into scalable ventures.
