International students participating in the ESL/Studio Program are eligible for summer housing at the New Residence.  After the students have paid their housing deposit and placement fee and are enrolled in the ESL/Studio Program, they will receive an email from the Residence Life Office explaining how to apply for summer and fall semester housing.

The New Residence Residence Hall, is an apartment-style residence hall located next door to SVA’s Main building, which makes it very convenient to access the campus quickly.  Apartments are two or three bedroom apartments with shared doubles (2 people per room.)  The New Residence is also connected to SVA's Student Center, where students meet for special events, arcade games, club meetings, and for doing homework.
