The New Residence Residence Hall, is an apartment-style residence hall reserved just for new students.   The New Residence is next door to SVA’s Main building, which makes it very convenient to access the campus quickly.  It is also connected to SVA's Student Center, where students meet for special events, arcade games, club meetings, and for doing homework.

Apartment Amenities

The New Residence Residence hall is comprised of two and three-bedroom apartments.  Two-bedroom apartments have one double room and one small double room, bathroom, and full kitchen for four students to share.  Three-bedroom apartments have three double rooms, full kitchen, and two bathrooms for 6 students to share.  Rooms are fully furnished for each student.

Building Amenities
The New Residence is next door to SVA’s Main building, which makes it very convenient to access the campus quickly.  The New Residence houses approximately 360 new students.  It is located in the Flatiron Distrcit of New York City, convenient to great shopping, dinning and nightlife.
