Candidates are responsible for completing all graduation requirements

To certify graduation, and to attend the Commencement Exercises, candidates of the Class of 2013 must complete the following College requirements, which are checked by the Office of Academic Advisement.

1. Before December 7, 2012
   Undergraduate candidates must meet with their Academic Advisor to review their academic requirements, submit the degree application form,  and give their commencement gowns size.

2. Graduate candidates must meet with their Student Advisor, or Assistant to the Department Chair to review their academic requirements, submit the degree application form, and give their commencement gowns information.

3. Before April 30, 2013
    Candidates must submit archival documentation of Portfolio/Thesis for SVA archives to the Department Chair.

4. By April 30, 2013
    Candidates must clear all financial obligations with:
   (a) the Office of Student Accounts,
   (b) the Office of Financial Aid (Exit Interview required by law)

5. By April 30, 2013
    Candidates must have completed all credits and required courses.

6. By April 30, 2013
    Candidates must have returned all books/periodicals borrowed from the SVA library.
