The devastating floods in Thailand are causing a drop in hard disk drive (HDD) production. Given the severity of the situation and the extensive supply constraints caused by the disruptions, the effects on the HDD industry will be substantial. Prices will go up on a daily basis due to the extreme shortage in the world market.
