Shelley Haven's solo exhibition, "The Architecture of Nature," opens this weekend at Wave Hill House in Riverdale, New York. Haven selected these works from her travels around Europe, the east coast, and our national parks, captured in her Travel Drawings and Boulders series. In her words: "these expressive, linear renderings of rock and cliff formations ... resonate with the grandeur and rugged texture of the Hudson River Palisades, visible from Wave Hill’s Pergola and elsewhere on the grounds.”
Shelley Haven teaches Pastels on Monday nights.
