In which Residency Program(s) did you participate?
Sculpture, Installation and New Media Art, 2013

What led you to participate in the Summer Residency Program?
I have been in the process of transitioning from the commercial world to that of the fine arts community. I saw it as a vehicle of change. It was perfect timing for me.

What was the best part of your experience at SVA?
The whole experience at SVA was incredible. I valued being a part of such a talented, international group. The Residency was truly a positive environment to learn new things.

How did the Residency Program contribute to your development as a professional artist?
The Residency Program has been a launching point for me as an artist by introducing me to the fine art world on such a high level. The critiques and the opportunities to visit artists' studios in the Hamptons were so inspiring. I now feel that I am better equipped as artist with the help of the Residency and the connections I was able to make during the program.

What's going on in your studio now?
I am currently making work to premiere in Berlin and am collaborating on a project about people who make things. I am very much continuing to draw from the energy of my Residency experience.
