A Look Inside SVA's Newest Residence Hall [slideshow]

Micro-Apartment Design helps students thrive in NYC

This week students moved into the newest SVA residence. The 24th Street Residence is equipped with a fitness center, yoga room, multi-media room, lounges on each floor, TV and games lounge, high-end kitchen and dining area on the lower level. Each room includes a bathroom, kitchenette and TVs. The new building is located at the intersection of 24th Street and First Avenue and is less than two blocks away from SVA’s main building on East 23rd Street. Here is a look inside the new residence:

The offices of Student Affairs, the International Student Office, and the Office of Programs for International Students are located on the first floor of the building.

Next to the student lounge is a large communal kitchen and a dining room which seats 30.

Each micro-apartment designed room is fully furnished with kitchenettes, high definition TV, a private bathroom and climate control.
