MA Curatorial Practice presents an exhibition that uses Langston Hughes’s 1965 short story Coffee Break to consider the politics of inclusion as it relates to spaces of cultural production, and meditates on ideas around integration and its abstract tendencies and separatist tensions. Participating artists include Chloë Bass, MFA Fine Arts student Sivan Dayan, Robert Gober, E. Jane, Tiona McClodden, Kayode Ojo (BFA 2012 Photography) and Marvin Touré (MFA 2016 Fine Arts). Curated by MA Curatorial Practice fellow Ikechukwu Casmir Onyewuenyi.
