Presented by the BFA Film and Video Department in partnership with Molecule Communications and The Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA), Ticket 2 Bollywood: Cinema Beyond Boundaries offers an insider's view of filmmaking in Bollywood and New York City. Over three days of panels, workshops and receptions, some of today's hottest writers, directors, actors and composers recount lessons learned, discuss professional best practices and forecast changes for filmmaking globally. This being the centennial year of Indian film, panelists will reflect on the history and triumphs of Subcontinent cinema. Other highlights include a panel on practical advice from Western filmmaking professionals on production in New York City. Additional topics include screenwriting trends, coproduction opportunities and international film financing. Bringing together professionals from two of the world’s largest filmmaking communities, the event is also a networking opportunity for aspiring and established talent.
