Social Enterprise Bootcamp brings together innovators and social entrepreneurs for a day of interactive workshops, networking and a pitch competition. Participants learn critical business and communication skills to build their venture. Workshops are facilitated by top college faculty and industry leaders in design, technology and business. This year’s workshops will cover key skills such as branding, finance, building a website, working with data, product development, measuring impact and the ethics of social enterprise. Presented by the MFA Design for Social Innovation Department in partnership with Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service.
On Friday, November 15, the bootcamp kicks off with a networking happy hour and pitch competition at the MFA Design for Social Innovation Department. On Saturday, November 16, workshops will be held at NYU’s Kimmel Center. The day will begin with Keynote speaker Rachel Chong, CEO of Catchafire. Saturday lunch will be provided by local food trucks.
