Overview
The MPS Digital Photography Department hosts Operation Photo Rescue, a nonprofit dedicated to restoring photographs damaged by natural disasters, for this event benefiting individuals affected by Superstorm Sandy. Anyone may bring up to 20 photographs damaged by the storm for evaluation. Photos that can be saved will be digitally captured to later be restored, printed and mailed to the owners at no cost. All photos must be dry and removed from any frames or albums. Appointments may be made at the link below; walk-ins are also welcome. This event is made possible through the support of Chase, PhotoShelter, DigMyPics, Imagingetc and Ken Allen Studios.
