MPS Art Therapy presents a lecture by art therapist Jen Byxbee, MPS, ATR-BC, LCAT, as part of its Community Lecture Series.
In this era of social media, our networks are much larger and our access to people and communication can be both immediate and permanent. This presents challenges and benefits in our work as therapists. How can we utilize digital media and social networking while preserving our integrity and ethical principles? How can we create appropriate boundaries for ourselves and our clients while still participating in digital platforms? In this lecture, Byxbee will discuss the relevant ethical issues as they pertain to therapists' use of digital and social media in their personal and professional lives.
