MPS Digital Photography presents a talk by photographer Howard Schatz. He will present work from his most recent book KINK, which is the culmination of a 25-year long project developed at the Folsom Street Fair, which is held every year on the last Sunday in September, celebrating the world of kink and BDSM.

Howard Schatz is constantly working on multiple and new photographic projects to satisfy his endless passion and curiosity for people of every walk of life. Schatz is a co-founder of the NY Photo Salon, has received international acclaim for his work and has won virtually every award in photography. He has had over 100 museum and gallery exhibitions world-wide, and over the last 25 years, 22 major books have been published of his work. He has created photographs for the covers of hundreds of magazines, including Time, Sports Illustrated, The New York Times Magazine, U.S. News and World Report, ESPN, New York, Newsweek and GQ.

He has made extraordinary images for such advertising clients as Ralph Lauren RLX, Escada, Sergio Tacchini, Nike, Reebok, Wolford, Etienne Aigner, Sony, Adidas, Finlandia Vodka, MGM Grand Hotel, Virgin Records and Mercedes-Benz. Schatz's fine art work is represented in galleries in the United States and abroad and he was just awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award for Photographer of the Year, from Fotofusion.
