Known for his graphic, colorful and quiet explorations of vernacular beauty, photographer Douglas Ljungkvist discusses his most recent project, Ocean Beach (2014 Kehrer Verlag). This monograph depicts a unique place in the American landscape, with subtexts of time, memory and identity. His talk is part of the i3: Images, Ideas, Inspiration lecture series, presented by MPS Digital Photography, which features presentations by digital photographers, hardware and software developers and industry experts.
