Overview

School of Visual Arts (SVA) presents “PRIME TIME,” a showcase of works in various media by current students in the BFA Fine Arts Department. Mediums include the traditional and the experimental; painting and sculptures are exhibited along with video and rapid prototype creations, as well as a piece incorporating hydroponics. Themes and issues range from personal narratives, portraiture and ecology to metaphorical associations of blood and “unnatural” nature.

The exhibition was curated by Suzanne Anker, BFA Fine Arts Department Chair, and will be on view September 29 – October 20 at the Westside Gallery, 133/141 West 21st Street, New York City.

Participating artists include Wei Dong, So Ra Kang, Min Kyoung Kim, Sojin Lim, Michael Madden, Dominic Musa, Alessia Resta, Brian Schiering, Narae Sung and Jia Yoon.
