Overview
The work created at Perpetual Motion Pictures between 1970 and 1982 will be shown and discussed by the artists who worked there. At its peak, Perpetual Motion Pictures employed over 70 people to work on ads, programming, 5 Berenstain Bears holiday specials, and Strawberry Shortcake in Big Apple City. Tom Warburton (Kids Next Door, Disney's Fish Hooks) will be hosting the evening's panel which will include Mordicai Gerstein (Director, Berenstain Bears holiday specials), Russell Calabrese (Animator and Animation Director), JJ Sedelmaier (Owner/Producer/Director, JJ Sedelmaier Productions), Thomas Schlamme (Director/Co-Creator, The West Wing, Studio 60, among others), and Candy Kugel (Director/Designer/Co-Owner, Buzzco Associates). Co-presented by the BFA Animation Department and ASIFA-East (Association Internationale du Film d’ Animation).
