ContinuEd Project Space: Alfredo Ponce

STUDENTS SHARE THEIR ARTWORK AT SVA CONTINUING EDUCATION

Visit our ContinuEd Project Space, where we are pleased to present an exhibition of artwork by Alfredo Ponce, who is a recent SVACE Design student. Mr. Ponce created this work in conjunction with Graphic Design: Basic and Typography & Identity. This exhibition will be on view throughout September in our exhibition spaces located at 209 East 23rd Street and 380 2nd Ave, 8th floor.

The artist writes:

"My name is Alfredo Ponce and I am a visual artist from New York. My work incorporates collage, typography, graphic design and digital art. I create pieces that are abstract and leave open-ended questions for viewers. My focus is on the relationships that develop when combining different mediums as opposed to the individual characteristics of a single art medium. In this way I hope to create work that can be viewed with different perspectives and dimensions. My experience in graphic design has helped me to hone in on creating a message, which strengthens a deeper connection with the viewer due to the feeling that there is something to be found and understood from the work."
