This hands-on course will explore a variety of ways to tell a story or present information through forms that include drawing, painting, sewing, printing and collage. We will look at the history of visual narrative from around the world. We will study graphic novels, comics, cartoons and contemporary narrative painting and drawing and use these forms as a source for our own work. Open to all from beginners to advanced. Instruction in basic drawing and in more advanced concepts. NOTE: A supply list will be distributed upon registration in this course.
