CONVERSACIONES: Latinos in Creative Industries

El verano del 2011 marco el inicio de una serie de conferencias y paneles con profesionales hispanos en las artes visuales auspiciada por la División de Educación Continua de la School of Visual Arts. En estos eventos, distinguidos artistas latinos hablan sobre sus trabajos y discuten sus procesos creativos, aquello que los inspira y cómo la cultura latina ha influenciado sus obras. Previos ponentes han incluido Jazmin Chavez (Latino Justice PRLDEF), Sem Devillart (Popular Operations), Rafael Esquer (Alfalfa Studio), Javier Fuentes (The Vidal Partnership), Felipe Galindo (ilustrador, caricaturista), Julissa Gutierrez (NALEO), Ed Morales (autor, periodista), Layla Revis (Ogilvy Worldwide), Nando Rodriguez (bloguero, personalidad de web) y Desi Sanchez (MTV2).

CONVERSACIONES: Latinos in Creative Industries

The summer of 2011 marked the inaugural event of a series of lectures and panel discussions featuring some of New York's most accomplished Latino creative professionals. The series, co-sponsored by the School of Visual Arts and Créate@NYDesigns, explores some of the visual communication challenges and opportunities in this growing market. Previous speakers have included Julissa Gutierrez (NALEO), Desi Sanchez (MTV2), Felipe Galindo (Feggo), José Luis Ortiz Tellez , Javier Fuentes (The Vidal Partnership), Elizabeth Pastor (Humantific), Jessica Perilla (JPD Studio), Layla Revis (Ogilvy), Jazmin Chavez (Being Latino), y Rafael Esquer (Alfalfa Studio).
