This seminar will introduce students to professional practices associated with artworld operations. How to present work, write an artist's statement and a proposal for a grant or exhibition, compile a resume and develop a cohesive body of work will be included. The seminar is intended as preparation for the transition into mentor-centered senior workshops. Budgets, inventory and market value will also be discussed.
