This workshop will expand and develop your jewelry techniques in silver and gold. The skills covered will include advanced techniques in soldering, stone setting, metal construction and forming (including hollow Roman rings and bracelets), hinges and clasps, granulation and fusing, ancient and modern chain-making, finishing, surface design and polishing. Instruction in cloissoné enamel techniques will also be available. Students will design and create projects based on the traditional or modern application of the media, and will receive individual assistance from the instructor.
