A continuation of FSC-2281, Creative Blacksmithing, this course will further explore hot- and cold-forging techniques to bend, shape, cut and join metal pieces into finished projects.
PREREQUISITE: FSC-2274, Metal Sculpture, or FSC-2281, CreativeBlacksmithing, or equivalent.
NOTE: A release will be provided for each student registering for this course. The release must be signed by the student at the beginning of the first session. This course will be held at 106 Ferris Street, Red Hook, Brooklyn. Access to the SVA Sculpture Center is not included.
