Description

Directors and actors alike rely on the talent of the special effects makeup artist to help bring life to their characters. Effects can reinforce the scene, motivate the actors and bring a touch of reality to any project. In this workshop, students will learn the basics of special effects makeup commonly used in productions, as well as accident simulation (painted and constructed), bullet hits, death and zombies. We will also explore some of the many materials used in the trade, which can be used for student productions as well.
