Recent advances in digital technology now make it possible to produce high-quality productions for television, cable, the Internet, DVDs, industrials, commercials and even features. Students will learn the basic aesthetic and technical steps toward creating a three-to-five minute independent video production. In-class exercises will concentrate on lighting, visual coverage of a scene and the actor-director relationship.
Note: Students will be allowed to take out digital cameras as specified by the instructor for out-of-class assignments. Projects will not be edited.
