The key editing features of Apple Final Cut Pro, including compositing, titles, motion graphics capabilities and digital special effects, will be explored in this course. Students will edit assignments and complete exercises that address narrative structure, rhythm and pace in the editorial process. The grammar and aesthetics of editing in the visual storytelling process will be emphasized.
Prerequisite: A working knowledge of the Macintosh computer operating system.
