Photoshop is the premier image-editing program used by graphic designers, web designers, fine artists, photographers and special effects professionals. This course will introduce the tools available in Adobe Photoshop such as the healing brush, photo filter, shadow/highlight, photomerge and the replace color tool. Students will learn how to apply advanced layer modes and effects for new looks. Topics will include: using channels to solve production issues, mastering the art of making perfect selections with quick masks and paths, working with history and extract functions.
Prerequisite: SWC-1012, Macintosh Basics, or equivalent.
