This unique two-week cinema program, in the historic cities of Rome and Milan, presents students with a journey of exploration and discovery into the world of cinema. Students will have the rare opportunity to collaborate directly with accomplished Italian directors and actors as they work their crafts through a variety of workshops. Working with a distinguished faculty from the prestigious Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, along with some of the most prominent Italian film and television artists, students will learn about the history of Italian cinema from World War II to today. The program includes visiting a fashion design company that is involved in film costuming, visiting prominent television studios Rai Cinema and Media Set, and meeting the production teams that create some of the most watched programs in Italy. Students will also visit a film set and speak with the director, actor and key production artists.
