Am I considered an alumnus of SVA and are there any dues involved?
Every graduate from a degree program at School of Visual Arts is automatically considered an alumnus. There are no dues attached to membership.
Can the Office of Alumni Affairs help me locate a former classmate?
The best way to get in contact with other SVA alumni is to log in to search for former classmates through the online alumni community. If you are unable to locate a specific alumnus, Alumni Affairs can help you. We cannot give out personal contact information, but we can relay a message and ask that person to get in touch with you.

How can I get my academic transcripts?
Requests for transcripts may be made in person or by writing to the College. Please visit the Office of the Registrar for instructions and a transcript request form.
How can I obtain a replacement diploma?
Duplicate diplomas are issued once a year, in May. If you have lost or misplaced your diploma, you may request a copy by faxing or mailing a request to: Office of Academic Advisement, School of Visual Arts, 209 East 23 Street, New York, NY 10010-3994, Attn: Lucky Checkley; fax 212.592.2545. How do I get my alumni ID card?
To take advantage of your alumni benefits and to gain access to SVA programs and events, you will need an alumni ID card along with a photo ID. To print out your alumni ID card, go to alumni.sva.edu/IDcard.
I have not been receiving anything from the Office of Alumni Affairs, how can I make sure you have my correct mailing address?
To update your current information, please log in to the online alumni community and update your alumni profile. You can also call us at 212.592.2300 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your new contact information.

What is The Alumni Society?
The Alumni Society of School of Visual Arts, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising scholarship funds for SVA students to help them complete their studies at SVA. Operational funds are provided by School of Visual Arts.
