Common Data Set

The Common Data Set (CDS) initative is a collaborative effort among data providers in the higher education community and publishers as represented by the College Board, Peterson's, U.S. New & World Reports.  The combined goal of the collaboration is to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided to all involved in a student's transition into higher education, as well as to reduce the reporting burden on data providers,  This goal is attained by the development of clear, standard data items and definitions in order to determine a specific cohort relevant to each item.

Middle States Annual Profile

The Middle States Annual Profile is designed to provide a snapshot of SVA's structure, operations, finances, and accredation status.  It is updated annually to enable MSCHE staff to monitor SVA's compliance with selected aspects of accredation standards.

IPEDS reports are mandated by the National Center for Education Statistics under common sets of definitions and standards used by all universities and colleges in the United States. Reports compare SVA the other reporting AICAD schools since 2010-11.

Student Opinion Survey

The ACT Survey of Student Opinion is administered to undergraduate students. The purpose of this survey is to help SVA assess various areas of the campus community, atmosphere, facilities, and academic experiences.
