The Office of Learning Technologies supports the college’s 3 Low-Residency Online programs, MPS Digital Photography, MFA Art Practice and MFA Visual Narrative. In each program, graduate students take part in a summer residency program, on-campus at SVA in New York during the summer months. The remaining semesters are spent studying online with fellow students and faculty using tools like course management software, video conferencing and remote critique sessions. The students spend the 15 weeks of their studying interactive content written by faculty and produced by the Office of Learning Technologies. This interactive content may include written lectures, videos, screen capture tutorials and interactive critiques.
